Product information "Goetz sallet"
The sallet is considered as a development of the iron hat and was the most common helmet of the 15th century in Europe. It was available in various versions: sometimes with no visors, often with flexible necks, but often with stiff neck protection. The salletr "Götz" has a rigid neck protector and a movable visor. A high, pronounced crest adorns the helmet and gives it stability. The front section is additionally reinforced. The helmet is provided with a foam lining and is closed with a sturdy chin strap.
