Our stage fighting swords are made of
spring steel with the common safety features for display weapons.
With a 2 mm wide striking edge and rounded tip, they are not only a
fancy decoration, but can also be used to display a controlled fight.
Any impact marks on the blade are due to the manufacturer's quality
control. They are unavoidable to test the blade for breaking strength
before delivery.
Being built along historical patterns from the 11th and 12th century, the "Balduin" sword is made with a classical pommel and a straight crossguard. The grip is covered with two with hardwood pieces for a better handling and feel. A typical normans sword for the reenactment of early medieval warriors.
This sword will be delivered with a leather scabbard.
We suggest to use Ballistol machine oil for the caretaking of this sword.
