This chain mail was made for bigger people and their need for bigger chain mail shirts.
It is app. XXL in size, is equipped with long sleeves and covers the thighs half way (depending on how much material you will need around the middle of the body. We suggest to wear a padded gambeson underneath any armour to avoid scratches and bruises. Those might occur at all times when wearing any metal armour. A belt will distribute the weight.

The chain mail "Richard" was made for wearers of average chest circumferences. It is wide enough to wear a gambeson underneath, has long sleeves and is approxamatly knee length. We suggest this chain mail for wearers with an chest circumference of app 90 cm to 125 cm. This way the chain mail can be worn over a gambeson and will extend to a maximum of 140 cm underneath the arms. The rings in the "armpit" are fully riveted. As shown on the picture, we recommend to wear the chain mail above a gambeson and with a belt, to readjust the weight. Sven Shield 2nd Edition

The "Sven" shield is delivered with a stabile plate in the back with a sturdy grip and an adjustable leather strap. Both, the grip and the strap, can be moved by unscrewing the bolts from the inside and variy the fixation of them. This way all users can make sure to carry the shield for their own comfort.
