It was the basic clothing for men and women and was subject to constant changes through new cuts.Our tunic "Gadaric" is the base for a great variety of medieval outfits. It is slightly bell-shaped from the hip downwards and slitted at the front and back. The generously cut sleeves allow great freedom of movement, for example when fighting.As an undergarment, for example under a gambeson, it dissipates moisture from the body while staying breathable, similar to a modern undershirt.As an upper garment in combination with a belt from our range of products, it is almost an outfit on its own. The "Connor" chain bracers are inspired by historical finds and offer the protection of chain mail in combination with the comfortable wearing of leather bracers. They are closed at the back with 2 leather straps & buckles. The chain mesh is sewn all around with the bracers and edged with suede. We recommend combining them with padded bracers or arm wraps to protect against bruises and abrasions.In this variant, the chain mesh is burnished to protect against rust. Being found in the marches of Thorsberg in northern Germany, these trousers were named after this place: the "Thorsberg" trousers. Its cut is leading the following centuries trousers shape and was found even centuries later in modern Jeans. Our variation "Ranulf" is made from robust canvas material, is cut very comfortable and offers lots of movement. Following the historical pattern, these trousers have no open codpiece, no lacing inside the seam, not button attached.
