Many of our products are made from suede. It is soft and elastic, yet stabile and robust. We offer this premium fabric as a blank leather hide. We take great care, that all hides are clear from holes and scars, so that you will have little offcut when working with them.
Suede is easy to work with and can be used for many different works: bags, shoes, clothing, inner liners for helmets, caps and byrnies... Only your own creativity limits the possibilities.

Please note, that suede is a natural product and can vary in size, quality and colouring.

The late medieval "Tudor" jerkin was specifically designed to be worn underneath a steel torso armour. In this way, "Tudor" protects the wearer from pressure marks and the impact of an opponent's blows without limiting the mobility. You can create your own lamellar armour with the leather scales called "Raude." Whether it's a complete leather armor or scale elements for your chain mail, you have the freedom to let your creativity run wild. Need a coif for the helmet, or perhaps some new leg tassets? The pre-punched holes allow our round leather cords to pass through smoothly, although we recommend slightly widening the holes during assembly using an awl.
