The "Zahra" belt fitting made of cast bronze is shaped like a flower, one of the most common ornamental designs in the Middle Ages. It can simply be attached to any desired belt, bracer or other piece of leather using a corresponding rivet. Elaborate ornaments were typically reserved for the nobility as well as wealthy citizens.
