Leopold gambeson brown
The gambeson "Leopold" has a classic cut and is generously padded. This makes it excellent for combination with a chainmail shirt. It has short sleeves and is slitted on the back. Thus, it barely limits its wearer's freedom of movement while still offering effective protection against abrasion caused by armour and bruises earned in combat. The simply cut gambeson is closed by means of five straps and roller buckles on the front side. "Leopold" is an ideal basis for all armour concepts and also well suited for being worn as an independent garment.
