Godegisel stage fight sword
Our stage fighting swords are made of spring steel with the common safety features for display weapons. With a 2 mm wide striking edge and rounded tip, they are not only a fancy decoration, but can also be used to display a controlled fight. Any impact marks on the blade are due to the manufacturer's quality control. They are unavoidable to test the blade for breaking strength before delivery.
Being made for chopping, the spatha is a double edged sword. It has a straight, broad blade and is wielded with one hand. The blade has a fuller running along the complete length and the typical grip for this periods swords. The grip is wrapped with a braided leather string.
We suggest to use Ballistol machine oil for the caretaking of this sword.
