The leather gorget "Alistair" is a special piece of armour. Handmade in Italy, by "Fucina de Drago" It is basically an independent, small chest armour. The intricately embossed collar is lengthened by a chest and back segment. The gorget is fixed with wide belts under the arms. Leather is a very versatile material with lots of different properties. Shoes, accessories and armour can last, if maintained propperly, for many years. The "Gold Qualities" leather greases effectiveness is defined by its high percentage of bees wax - this is another reason for it cleaning your leather so good. It penetrates depply into the leather and seals it from dirt and moisture. Rub it gently into the leather by using a soft brush or cloth. After a short residence time the excessive grease is brushed off - appling too much grease will result in a saturation; the superfluent grease can be wiped off. Your leather product will let you know when you apply too much: we suggest to apply less grease, but more often. Not only leather can be taken care off with this grease, we suggest to clean steel armours light rust or polish drinking horns with it. Wooden articles profit from its bees wax ingredients as well. They are made of high quality cowhide leather tanned in Tuscany and consist of five flexible segments. With their finely tooleded ornamental beading and curved lines, these leather spaulders are perfect for combination with the "Alistair" or "Kendra" series armour parts. Due to the many segments, the "Alistair" leather spaulders extend far to the upper arm and are an ideal complement for heavier armament concepts. "Floki" is a beautifully decorated Viking style belt. It is available with different decors and is offered here in the version "Raven". The eight segments of the belt are connected with leather straps. These are two segments with belts, a back segment with two buckles and the belly segment with the decorative panel. In addition there are four segments with which the length can be varied by 5 cm per segment. These can be converted at will or removed as required. With the "Floki" expansion set you get two of these segments in addition. The expansion set is available separately.
