Fibulas are used ever since the bronze ages to close clothing on the wearers body often referred to as "the buttons before there were buttons". They were used up to the late medieval period, until the button and buttonhole were introduced. Used as jewlery, they were often decorated rich.Our "Sylvana" fibula is such a decoration fibula. As with all our steel and iron ware, they are made by hand. The fibula is beatifully decorated with leaves on its end. The ring is completly torqued. Attention: The upper seam on the hip is really wide. Do not wonder, but see the Rus pants cut as an authentic (and surprisingly: very comfortable) way of wearing them. These pants were made following the example set by the Rus-pants. A early viking pattern, that allows enomous movement. The pants are being tied on the waistband and just below the knee. The water bottle "Bruna" is sewn by hand from sturdy leather. It is an indispensable companion on hikes, battlefields and in dusty dungeons. Inside, it hides an easy-care PET inlay with a capacity of approx. 1.5 litres. The leather strap is removable, so the "Bruna" water bottle can also be attached to other carrying systems or can be placed on a table without a strap. We recommend rinsing the bottle thoroughly with warm water before using it for the first time. Please do not fill your "Bruna" water bottle with hot drinks, as this can damage the PET inlay. We recommend storing your bottle opened, with the plug removed, so it can dry.
