Bernardo/Sicuro crossbow stirrup lock

A replacement string fitting for the "Bernardo" & "Sicuro" crossbows from our program (not suitable for the "Bernardo" double & pistol crossbow). To put it on, simply hang it in on one side and carefully pull back both ends of the bow until you can hang in the other loop. With a little practice this can be done on your own, to start with, just ask another person to help. Like the crossbows, the replacement string is handcrafted in the Fucina del Drago factory in Italy and is a testament to masterful craftsmanship.Material: Dacron stringLength: ~ 61 cm

A replacement stirrup suitable for the "Bernardo" & "Sicuro" crossbows from our program (not fitting the double or pistol crossbow). It is attached to the crossbow with the separately available bracket lock and fixes the bow in place. The crossbow Bernardo is manufactured in a small workshop in Italy and convinces by careful workmanship and a reliable release mechanism. The shaft is made of robust wood, the bow and stirrup, as well as the trigger, are made of burnished steel. The safety pin above the release lever is easy to reach. This allows the crossbow to be quickly unlocked before each shot and secured again for reloading. Bernardo can be dismantled for transport. The cotter pin at the front must be removed, stirrup and bow can then be removed. Two bolt clamps are included in the delivery for bolts with different shaft thicknesses. These hold the bolts on the crossbow firmly and provide the necessary distance to the tendon. The bolt clamps can easily be changed with a screw. For our Bernardo bolts we recommend the bolt clamp for narrower bolts. These can be brought to the desired pressure strength by carefully bending them open. The bolt should always rest firmly over the entire length of the guide groove. The crossbow has a strength of about 30 pounds. Please always use them responsibly within the rules of your event. We recommend that you always load them in a secure condition and pay attention to your fingertips when shooting. The split for securing the stirrup as well as the string are available as spare parts from us. The limbs and stirrup can be reordered from the manufacturer if required.
