The plate armour "Dragomir" is an incredibly complex suit of armour. It consists of several overlapping, moving segments and finely wrought elements that interact to form an extraordinary armour set.

All Dragomir armour pieces are carefully crimped, beaded and coordinated to complement one another. They stand out through their shape and the masterful finish that make this armour suit so unique. If you prefer a little less embellishment and want to save some money, we recommend you have a look at Dragomir's brother, Rikomer. Although technically identical, Rikomer dispenses with the decorative beads in favour of a more brute look and a lower price.

Armour suits like this are normally only available as custom-made pieces, and we had to fiddle with it for a long time before we could bring it to serial production. Of course, the fit can (and will have to) be optimized here and there by carefully bending the pieces, but we have designed the armour so that it can be worn to battle with maximum wearing comfort. The medium size has a smaller torso and armour belt. All pieces are browned to protect them from rust, this makes Dragomir a great match for dark knights or champios of chaos.

We generally recommend wearing a gambeson and padded bracers & greaves underneath plate armour; wearing comfort and protective effect are significantly improved.

Shapur Gambeson black

A gambeson fulfills several tasks. It is a seperate armour, which could protect against sword blows on the medieval battlefield itself. On LARP events or on medieval markets and fairs it will protect from bruises. Worn underneath any metal armour it will provide comfort to the wearer. It can be used as a stand alone costume and can be combined with belts and bags. We offer various gambesons in many colours and shapes. The "Shapur" series shows a rather oriental cut. It is closed with three leather strings in the front and has the two flaps overlapping. This is often seen in eastern asian clothing as well. Women will like this gambeson as well, as it is fitted on the waist. The lacing on the sides allows an individual fitting to the wearers body. The gambeson has a handy padding without being too thick. The padding on the arms' inside is a little thinner, so that the wearer has more movability when fighting or dancing. Our "Shapur" gambeson is not only something special by its cut, but also through its tight padding: it is almost too beautiful to hide it underneath an armour. Arm protection with finger protection for archers

A simple but effective underarm protection for archers. It is made of soft artificial leather and can be fastened with hooks. Of course the fastening has to be worn on the backside of the arm to not interfere when shooting. The attached loops are worn over thumb and forefinger to protect them when drawing the bowstring.
