If you like it a little less decorated and want to save some money, you should check out "Dragomir's" brother "Rikomer". Technically identical, "Rikomer" dispenses the decorative beads in favor of a more brutal look and a lower price.

Armor like this is usually only available as a custom-made product and we had to fiddle a long time before we could get it ready for series production. Of course, the fit must and can be optimized here and there by careful bending, but we have designed the armor in such a way that it can be carried into the field with maximum comfort. The individual parts are burnished to protect against rust and are particularly suitable for dark knights or fighters of chaos.

We generally recommend wearing a gambeson and arm & leg paddings under plate armor. This significantly improves wearing comfort and protection.

Fafnir padded greaves

The "Fafnir" greaves consist of three solid riveted segments. A lower foot protection, which, thanks to the generous, padding, allows the greaves to be comfortably worn down to the boots, an extra padded segment for the knees and the actual protection for the shin. With their curved lines and wide beading, the greaves look sleek and elegant, with maximum protection. Due to the overlapping segments, they are very stable and do not deform even in the case of heavy duty. Like all the armour of the "Fafnir" series, these greves are equipped with padded suede upholstery. This increases the wearing comfort considerably and also protects knees and feet. They are closed with sturdy leather straps and roll buckles on the back. Armours of the "Fafnir" series are not only for characters with "Nordic" background a decent protection. Gustav belt shield

Our belt shields can be painted in groups colours, insignia or heraldry to show the membership to a certain group. Made from 1,2 mm steel, we offer them in our favorite plate armour series now. Matching the "Gustav" series, this shield is not decorated, but meets the series' style with plain and undecorated beauty. It is worn on a belt by using the two loops on the top to hoist it through there. Naturally it can be worn as a tasset, when fastened on the upper thigh. This way you will have an additional plate armour piece. The belt shields, just like our arm shields, cry out to be painted, modded and to be combined with existing clothing. This is, where your creativity and immagination comes into place. Talking of creativity: We suggest to clean the shield with Acetone prior to painting it. Afterwards just sand it with a paper with 600 grid. Use some automobile colour primer as the colour-matching foundation. When the foundation is fully dried, you should sand it again and apply a second layer of colour. Now is the time, where you can paint your details, like heraldry, animals and writings with weatherproof acrylic paint.
