This seven piece full armguard matches and completes the "Markward" series. Upper arm and forearm are, each, safely wrapped in a full steel tube, which is closed by using a buckle-strap. This way they are well protected from blows to the bone.
The elbow has a matching guard, which goes along the entire "Markward" series. The full armguard can be adjusted to consisting armour without any problems.

Markward torso armour

The torso armour "Markward" is a classic cuirass and consists of a chest- and a back plate. The two parts are connected with sturdy leather straps and roll buckles. You can also adjust the size of the torso armour individually. The torso armour does not have its own suspension for spaulders. An additional gorget must be used for such an extension. Markward tassets

The tassets "Marward" are made of two segments, which are attached to a wide armour belt. Together they result in a movable and very effective abdomen protection. A wide leather lip forms the conclusion to the upper body and closes the gap between the tassets and a breast plate. Like all armour parts of the "Markwart" series, the tassets are simple and very functional. This armour system made of tassets and belt can be worn without aTorsoarmour and is closed with two straps on the back. Balthasar belt shield

Our belt shields can be painted in groups colours, insignia or heraldry to show the membership to a certain group. Made from 1,2 mm steel, we offer them in our favorite plate armour series now. Matching the "Balthasar" series, this shield is decorated with rivets and a beading along the edge. It is worn on a belt by using the two loops on the top to hoist it through there. Naturally it can be worn as a tasset, when fastened on the upper thigh. This way you will have an additional plate armour piece. The belt shields, just like our arm shields, cry out to be painted, modded and to be combined with existing clothing. This is, where your creativity and immagination comes into place. Talking of creativity: We suggest to clean the shield with Acetone prior to üainting it. Afterwards just sand it with a paper with 600 grid. Use some automobile colour primer as the colour-matching foundation. When the foundation is fully dried, you should sand it again and apply a second layer of colour. Now is the time, where you can paint your details, like heraldry, animals and writings with weatherproof acrylic paint.
