The sallet "Mathes" from our diverse range of helmets is particularly elaborate. Curved lines adorn the movable visior, as well as the triple-segmented neck guard. A wide eye slit allows good vision, as well as excellent ventilation. The edges of the helmet are of course beaded. The foam pad can be used to comfortably carry the sallet up to a head circumference of 62 cm. A chin strap with buckle holds him safely in position. In its classic yet playful form, "Mathes" is ideal for richer warriors such as knights, nobility or even paladins. Of course, a successful mercenary or a soldier of a wealthy country can also be equipped with this helmet.

Magnus visor helmet

The "Magnus" visor helmet is designed along a bascinet from the 14th century and got a little bit of "fantasy" added by us.The long and elaboratly built visor can be detached. This way the helmet can be worn as a barbute as well. The wide slight does barely restrict the vision of the wearer, the punch holes in the face mask allow a free breathing. The visor is fastened to the sides by two large thorns.The rolling shape and the backwards bent look appear slim and elegant within this helmet.The padding is made from foam and covered in cotton. The chin strap is made from upper leather and is being closed with a buckle.The beading along all edges is a little thicker than usually, to avoid bruises on the shoulders of the wearer. Wilhelm armshield small

The small "Wilhelm" arm shield is thought to be and upgrade to our chainmail shirts. Similar to a belt shield, those add ons can show the groups colours, insignia or heraldry. It is being fixed to the wearers upper arm with a belt and can be fastened to the mails rings by using a leather string. Made from armour steel, it is not only an additional armour plate, but also another nice detail on any existing costume. The shield can also be fastened to any other existing armour and clothing - there is no definite need for a chainmail. A gambeson can also be a good foundation: just sew a leather string to the sleeve and attach the shield there! You will only need some creativity and a little handywork. Talking of creativity: We suggest to clean the shield with Acetone prior to painting it. Afterwards just sand it with a paper with 600 grid. Use some automobile colour primer as the colour-matching foundation. When the foundation is fully dried, you should sand it again and apply a second layer of colour. Now is the time, where you can paint your details, like heraldry, animals and writings with weatherproof acrylic paint. We suggest to order a leather string from our stock: this way you have everything at hand, when starting to built your new upgrade. The "Magdalena" underdress is made from a light but very stabile cotton fabric and a real allrounder. It can be worn in many different settings, be it wasteland, western or medieval/fantasy. You can wear it as a nightgown, a simple light dress for warm days, or as an underdress with different outer garments, depending on the weather.
