Per fare ciò è necessario rimuovere il perno di sicurezza sul frontale; la staffa e l’arco possono quindi essere rimossi. La balestra ha una forza di trazione di circa 30 libbre. Bernardo crossbow

The crossbow Bernardo is manufactured in a small workshop in Italy and convinces by careful workmanship and a reliable release mechanism. The shaft is made of robust wood, the bow and stirrup, as well as the trigger, are made of burnished steel. The safety pin above the release lever is easy to reach. This allows the crossbow to be quickly unlocked before each shot and secured again for reloading. Bernardo can be dismantled for transport. The cotter pin at the front must be removed, stirrup and bow can then be removed. Two bolt clamps are included in the delivery for bolts with different shaft thicknesses. These hold the bolts on the crossbow firmly and provide the necessary distance to the tendon. The bolt clamps can easily be changed with a screw. For our Bernardo bolts we recommend the bolt clamp for narrower bolts. These can be brought to the desired pressure strength by carefully bending them open. The bolt should always rest firmly over the entire length of the guide groove. The crossbow has a strength of about 30 pounds. Please always use them responsibly within the rules of your event. We recommend that you always load them in a secure condition and pay attention to your fingertips when shooting. The split for securing the stirrup as well as the string are available as spare parts from us. The limbs and stirrup can be reordered from the manufacturer if required. Sicuro crossbow

This crossbow is the longer version of our popular "Bernardo" crossbow and is suitable for shooting our long IDV bolts. "Sicuro" is manufactured in a small workshop in Italy and stands out through careful craftsmanship and a reliable release mechanism. The shaft is made of sturdy wood, the bow and stirrup as well as the trigger are made of burnished steel. The safety pin above the release lever is easy to reach. This allows quickly unlocking the crossbow before each shot and securing it again for reloading."Sicuro" can be dismantled for transport. If the pin at the front is removed, the stirrup and bow can be detached. Two bolt clamps are included in the delivery for bolts with different shaft thicknesses. These serve to firmly hold the bolts on the crossbow and provide the necessary distance to the string. The bolt clamps can easily be changed with a screw. For IDV bolts as well as Sicuro bolts, we recommend the bolt clamp for narrower bolts. These can be adjusted to the desired pressure strength through carefully bending. Bernardo / Sicuro crossbow replacement string

A replacement string fitting for the "Bernardo" & "Sicuro" crossbows from our program (not suitable for the "Bernardo" double & pistol crossbow). To put it on, simply hang it in on one side and carefully pull back both ends of the bow until you can hang in the other loop. With a little practice this can be done on your own, to start with, just ask another person to help. Bernardo crossbow bolt

The "Bernrado" bolt fits perfectly on our "Bernardo" crossbow. A stable wooden shaft and "fletches" made of robust leather not only look good, they also ensure a long service life. The safety head is made of soft PU foam and meets the usual safety standards for live role-playing games. If the bolt is a little too loose or too tight on the "Bernardo" crossbow, we recommend to exchange the retaining clip for the other size or to adjust it by carefully bending it. The clips are handmade and may vary slightly in their curvature.
