The "Bernardo" pistol crossbow is manufactured in a small factory in Italy and impresses with its careful workmanship and reliable release mechanism. The shaft is made of sturdy wood, limbs, stirrup, safety and the trigger are made of burnished steel. The safety pin blocks the trigger and should be secured before cocking to avoid accidental firing. "Bernardo" can be dismantled for transport. To do this, the safety pin on the front has to be removed; the stirrups and limbs can then be removed. The crossbow has a draw strength of about 30 pounds. The classical LRP arrow from IDV in Germany. The flattop head is designed for shorter distances therefore it is called LD ( = low distance) arrow. This pretty suede bodice can be laced in the front and at the sides. Therefore it accentuates the wearer´s body favorably. The inserted rods give it additional stability and the slits at the bottom make for a decorative hemline.
