Initially the skirt was a piece of clothing for both: men and women alike. It was made with sleeves and was worn as everyday clothing in all social classes. Only later the skirt developed into the shape we know it as today. The ankle long skirt "Anna" is built with a wide, comfortable waistband. The lacing on the back can be used to adjust the skirt indivudually to the wearers body. Rough canvas provides the neccessary durability on LARP events and medieval markets. When combined with the blouse and the bodice fro mthe "Anna" series, this costume provides a good basis for a tavern maidens dress. As usual: the accessories added will only make up for the basis being chnaged into your individual costume.

"Armin" is a medieval head wear for men. It´s available in three sizes, to fit almost everyone. We recommend to decorate the "Armin" cap additionally with embroidering, a feather or a broach. This kind of head wear is called the italian beret and was developed from the "pillbox" headwear. Hamond puttee canvas
Puttees have been in use from the Iron Age until the medieval times. It was "reinvented" by the military and used as regular equipment for soldiers in World War I. and in the second World War. Be it Roman legionary or french soldier: this easy to put on leg dress warmes the calfs and protects from scratches and bruises. Our "Hamond" puttees are made from robust canvas fabric. With its 380 cm length, it can be used for wrapping up to the knee - even thicker calfs should get their share of warmth. Attention: The upper seam on the hip is really wide. Do not wonder, but see the Rus pants cut as an authentic (and surprisingly: very comfortable) way of wearing them.
