This gauntlet is made from eight pieces and provides good protection from blows to the hand and forearm.
The long cuff is closed on the bottom. The gauntlet is closed with three buckle-straps and fits tight to most hands.
The beadings and rivets match the entire "Balthasar" series.
The leather gloves are not included in delivery.

Balthasar full legguard

The "Balthasar" leg guards are made of six segments. Their knee joints are very agile and hardly hinder running or fighting. Like all the armor parts of the "Balthasar series", the leg guards are intricately designed and decorated with beadings and rivets. The lower leg segment is kept short, so additional tassets can be worn. This increases the agility and gives the armor an extra detail. Balthasar full armguard

The armguard from the "Balthasar" series is very elaborate and is made up of nine flexibly connected segments. This ensures maximum agility in combat. Heinrich boots defect poduction

The sole of this boot is not nailed, but sewn! We recommend resoling it Tough boots are a neccessity when going on events and having bad weather: there is little worse, than wet feet in pain. These boots were made along historical patterns and pictures: they are being closed with four leather strings around your ankle. The heavy leather sole is nailed onto the top, so you can basically wear a historical replica boot. The thick upper leather repells rain and dirt as long as its greased thick enough. Wilhelm armshield small

The small "Wilhelm" arm shield is thought to be and upgrade to our chainmail shirts. Similar to a belt shield, those add ons can show the groups colours, insignia or heraldry. It is being fixed to the wearers upper arm with a belt and can be fastened to the mails rings by using a leather string. Made from armour steel, it is not only an additional armour plate, but also another nice detail on any existing costume. The shield can also be fastened to any other existing armour and clothing - there is no definite need for a chainmail. A gambeson can also be a good foundation: just sew a leather string to the sleeve and attach the shield there! You will only need some creativity and a little handywork. Talking of creativity: We suggest to clean the shield with Acetone prior to painting it. Afterwards just sand it with a paper with 600 grid. Use some automobile colour primer as the colour-matching foundation. When the foundation is fully dried, you should sand it again and apply a second layer of colour. Now is the time, where you can paint your details, like heraldry, animals and writings with weatherproof acrylic paint. We suggest to order a leather string from our stock: this way you have everything at hand, when starting to built your new upgrade.
