Brandon armour jerkin

The armour jerkin "Brandon" is made of soft suede. With its narrow diamond shaped stichings and light lining, it is ideal to be worn under armour without limiting the mobility of the wearer. It also works excellently as an independent upper garment. The wearing comfort of an armour is greatly improved and the wearer is effectively protected against bruises in combat. The chest of the knee-length armour jerkin "Brandon", is additionally reinforced in order to meet the demands of a cuirass or a chain shirt. Shoulder armours are comfortably padded by the flared shoulders. This avoids the rubbing of the straps on the skin or pressure points. By lateral lacing, "Brandon" can be individually adapted to the body shape. Our belt shields can be painted in groups colours, insignia or heraldry to show the membership to a certain group. Made from 1,2 mm steel, we offer them in our favorite plate armour series now. Matching the "Markward" series, this shield is decorated with the typical cut edges on the top. It is worn on a belt by using the two loops on the top to hoist it through there. Naturally it can be worn as a tasset, when fastened on the upper thigh. This way you will have an additional plate armour piece. The belt shields, just like our arm shields, cry out to be painted, modded and to be combined with existing clothing. This is, where your creativity and immagination comes into place. Talking of creativity: We suggest to clean the shield with Acetone prior to painting it. Afterwards just sand it with a paper of 600 grid. Use some automobile colour primer as the colour-matching foundation. When the foundation is fully dried, you should sand it again and apply a second layer of colour. Now is the time, where you can paint your details, like heraldry, animals or writings with weatherproof acrylic paint.
