The leather scale armour "Hektor" consists of two parts. A superstructure made of sturdy, hardened armour leather was firmly riveted to a basis made of soft suede. So "Hector" offers its wearer a lot of freedom of movement. Thick leather scales, each carefully hand-punched, form the main part of this elaborately crafted armour. The shoulder area is made to resemble scales, thus optically connecting to the substructure. A special detail are the small opposing scales near the armholes. Not only are they very decorative, they also give the armour shape and stability. The armour can be closed and adjusted in size by means of two shapely buckles on the sides.
"Hector" truly is an extraordinary piece of armour and will turn heads - not only on the battlefield.

With a revised design of this leather armour, the well-known leather manufacturer Fucina del Drago sets new standards.

Gold Quality leather grease

Leather is a very versatile material with lots of different properties. Shoes, accessories and armour can last, if maintained propperly, for many years. The "Gold Qualities" leather greases effectiveness is defined by its high percentage of bees wax - this is another reason for it cleaning your leather so good. It penetrates depply into the leather and seals it from dirt and moisture. Rub it gently into the leather by using a soft brush or cloth. After a short residence time the excessive grease is brushed off - appling too much grease will result in a saturation; the superfluent grease can be wiped off. Your leather product will let you know when you apply too much: we suggest to apply less grease, but more often. Not only leather can be taken care off with this grease, we suggest to clean steel armours light rust or polish drinking horns with it. Wooden articles profit from its bees wax ingredients as well. They will be protected effectively and recieve a new shine. Material: vaseline, bone marrow oil, genuine bees wax Colour: natural Volume: 190 ml

A leather collar with "turtleneck" and clasps for leather spaulders made by "Fucina del Drago" in Italy.This collar is made from front and back piece and is closed by using the belt-straps on each side. The bottom holds eyelets on each side, so you may attach it to any exsisting armour or even clothing and padded jackets.You will find one strap on either side of this collar to attach any spaulders from our "Fucina del Drago" range.The edges are decorated with a celtic knot and are rounded additionally to raise the comfort wearing them.The mouth piece is made with holes on your right side (when wearing it), the left side is left untouched.
