Información sobre el producto "Mortimer cuirass"

The cuirass "Mortimer"; is based on breast plates of the 15th century. It consists of two parts that are flexibly connected to each other. This considerably increases mobility and wearing comfort. "Mortimer" is closed with a cross strap on the back and a belt. Fit and size can be optimally adjusted.
This cuirass is perfect for military characters like mercenaries, lansquenets and soldiers. Of course it can also be worn by knights and adventurers. As always, it depends on the combination with other armour and garments.
For more wearing comfort we recommend to wear a gambeson underneath.

Gold Quality leather grease

Leather is a very versatile material with lots of different properties. Shoes, accessories and armour can last, if maintained propperly, for many years. The "Gold Qualities" leather greases effectiveness is defined by its high percentage of bees wax - this is another reason for it cleaning your leather so good. It penetrates depply into the leather and seals it from dirt and moisture. Rub it gently into the leather by using a soft brush or cloth. After a short residence time the excessive grease is brushed off - appling too much grease will result in a saturation; the superfluent grease can be wiped off. Your leather product will let you know when you apply too much: we suggest to apply less grease, but more often. Not only leather can be taken care off with this grease, we suggest to clean steel armours light rust or polish drinking horns with it. Wooden articles profit from its bees wax ingredients as well. Lucas breastplate

The products from our "Lucas" series are specially designed for the young heroes. They look like the ones for adults but are cut a lot smaller. The "Mortimer" bevor fits perfectly to the cuirass of the same name. The high half collar has a mobile visor and protects the neck, as well as the lower part of the face. Together with a helmet, such as our "Götz" Schaller, you get optimal protection for the whole head. The bevor is fastened with a belt in the neck. Together with the cuirass "Mortimer" and one of our Sallet helmets you get an armour, that fits well for costumes from the 15th century. Of course the bevor can also be combined with other armour. Markward torso armour

The torso armour "Markward" is a classic cuirass and consists of a chest- and a back plate. The two parts are connected with sturdy leather straps and roll buckles. Gustav belt shield

Our belt shields can be painted in groups colours, insignia or heraldry to show the membership to a certain group. Made from 1,2 mm steel, we offer them in our favorite plate armour series now. Matching the "Gustav" series, this shield is not decorated, but meets the series' style with plain and undecorated beauty. It is worn on a belt by using the two loops on the top to hoist it through there. Naturally it can be worn as a tasset, when fastened on the upper thigh. This way you will have an additional plate armour piece. The belt shields, just like our arm shields, cry out to be painted, modded and to be combined with existing clothing. This is, where your creativity and immagination comes into place. Talking of creativity: We suggest to clean the shield with Acetone prior to painting it. Afterwards just sand it with a paper with 600 grid. Use some automobile colour primer as the colour-matching foundation. When the foundation is fully dried, you should sand it again and apply a second layer of colour. Now is the time, where you can paint your details, like heraldry, animals and writings with weatherproof acrylic paint.
