Being found in the marches of Thorsberg in northern Germany, these trousers were named after this place: the "Thorsberg" trousers. Its cut is leading the following centuries trousers shape and was found even centuries later in modern Jeans. Our variation "Ranulf" is made from robust canvas material, is cut very comfortable and offers lots of movement. Following the historical pattern, these trousers have no open codpiece, no lacing inside the seam, not button attached. It is being tied with the wearers belt and holds some belt loops ready for that. The trousers are very well suited for any nordic or early medieval costume. Still, many other costume ideas can be dressed with this simple, yet comfortable pair od trousers.
