"Mina" was made as an armour for women. Naturally we had to resign from historical patterns, as equality was not that popular amongst the medieval knight. Today we are proud to announce, that there is a way to dress strong women for the battlefield - using this armour set, you will not only be good looking on the field of glory, ladies! The "Mina" armour resebles large parts of our well known "Balthasar" series. The edges with decorative rivets are a continuous detail. Both series can be combined to get a resembeling look. We offer the armour series in a set for a lowered price. Our belt shields can be painted in groups colours, insignia or heraldry to show the membership to a certain group. Made from 1,2 mm steel, we offer them in our favorite plate armour series now. This belt shield was, just like the entire "Lucas" series, built with a corrugation along the edge. It is worn on the belt, which is pulled through the two leather belt loops on the top. Naturally it can be worn as a small tasset on the thigh. The belt shields are, just like our arm shields, ideal to be painted, modded and combined with existing costume parts. This is, where your creativity and immagination comes into place. Talking of creativity: We suggest to clean the shield with Acetone prior to üainting it. Afterwards just sand it with a paper with 600 grid. Use some automobile colour primer as the colour-matching foundation. When the foundation is fully dried, you should sand it again and apply a second layer of colour. Steel bracers and greaves are not only suitable for in-game protection when blocking blows to the arms and legs, but also protect in real life: whenever the kids roam through the forrests and parks, their legs and arms may get scratches and bruises. Shins and lower arms are well protected with a layer of steel greaves and bracers. A great basis for "dark" characters, but they are also suitable as a contrast for brighter costumes. The "Lucas" set of bracers and greaves was specially designed for children and adults with a really small circumference on arms and legs. They are shorter and smaller in diameter, but can "grow" with the wearer by carefully bending them open a little. Just like all pieces from the "Lucas" range, they are built with a stiffening ridge along the edges and are being closed with two straps on each piece. We suggest to wear padded bracers and greaves underneath to avoid scratches and bruises when playing outside. Not only does this maximise comfort, but also protects the skin and bones.
