"Mina" was made as an armour for women. Naturally we had to resign from historical patterns, as equality was not that popular amongst the medieval knight. Today we are proud to announce, that there is a way to dress strong women for the battlefield - using this armour set, you will not only be good looking on the field of glory, ladies! The "Mina" armour resebles large parts of our well known "Balthasar" series. The edges with decorative rivets are a continuous detail. Both series can be combined to get a resembeling look. We offer the armour series in a set for a lowered price. Our belt shields can be painted in groups colours, insignia or heraldry to show the membership to a certain group. Made from 1,2 mm steel, we offer them in our favorite plate armour series now. This belt shield was, just like the entire "Lucas" series, built with a corrugation along the edge. It is worn on the belt, which is pulled through the two leather belt loops on the top. Naturally it can be worn as a small tasset on the thigh. The belt shields are, just like our arm shields, ideal to be painted, modded and combined with existing costume parts. This is, where your creativity and immagination comes into place. Talking of creativity: We suggest to clean the shield with Acetone prior to üainting it. Afterwards just sand it with a paper with 600 grid. Use some automobile colour primer as the colour-matching foundation. When the foundation is fully dried, you should sand it again and apply a second layer of colour. The "Lucas" armour series was especially designed for kids. The bracers and greaves are a little shorter and narrower. The breastplate is also made for smaller bodys, but can be enlarged to "grow" with the wearer by carefully bending it. The breastplate is based on a half-cuirass and has no backplate. It can be closed and adjusted to the wearer's body by means of two crossed, sturdy leather straps across the wearer's back. Steel bracers and greaves are not only suitable for in-game protection, but also protect in real life, when the kids experience adventures in parks and forests. The underbrush and stones may quickly cause bruises when playing in nature. Shins and lower arms are well protected with a layer of steel greaves and bracers. With this set, we offer a complete armour for young heroes at an unbeatable price. Be they a black knight or a wild burglar - black is a good basis for many armed and armoured character concepts. We suggest wearing a set of arm and leg paddings underneath steel armour, for example those from our "Leopold" product series. This will not only maximise wearing comfort, but also improve the protective effect.
