The second edition of our popular foam weapons is made out of a new material. It is more tear-resistant than our old foam and absorbs the energy of every hit. Moreover, we updated the handle wraps so that you can wield your weapon with a good grip and accuracy even in a heated battle.

The design of the "Fidas" short sword of the Battle-Standard series was inspired by the old Adventurers series by Hammerkunst. Its slender, fullered blade and short guard are fitting for many different characters.

"Battle Standard" foam weapons are made without latex, and are therefore not subject to "latex cancer". Still, it is recommended to care for them with silicone oil to increase the durability of the protective coating.

Please note: Battle Standard products may have a hole on the flat of the blade near the point. This hole is created during production, a technical necessity in order to stabilize the core rod while the weapon is filled with foam. Moreover, further small holes may be present on the surface in other places. These holes are not to be understood as flaws and do not affect the foam weapon’s safety.

Disclaimer: All items shown here were especially designed to safely portray fights in controlled environments like live roleplay events, theatre stages etc. The foam weapons are made with a glass fibre reinforced plastic rod as a core, fully encapsulated in soft foam to avoid injuries.

The second edition of our popular foam weapons has been crafted from a new material. It's more tear-resistant than our previous foam and absorbs the impact energy better. Additionally, we've redesigned the grip wrappings, ensuring that you can always handle your foam weapon well and securely even in heated battles. The single-edged shortsword "Yorveth" has an almost organic appearance. The slightly inclined pommel and the curved guard, with their fantastical lines and extraordinary shapes, evoke the armor of an insect or the scales of a dragon. "Yorveth" is the ideal foam weapon for characters from a nature-oriented culture such as elves or barbarians. Oriental characters can be equipped just as well with this sword as perhaps an orc. As always, imagination knows no bounds. This foam weapon is made from special PU foam and is largely resistant to weather conditions. Material: PU Foam, FibreglassLength: 66 cm Blade Length: 40 cm Blade Width: 5 cm Weight: 218 g We recommend regular application of silicone oil for the maintenance of the foam weapon. Please note, in Battle Standard products, there may be a hole on the broadside of the blade near the tip due to production reasons.
