Many view the bardiche as the successor of the Dane axe. It was in use from the 14th century on, but evidences may also be found in manuscripts from as early as the 12th century. The "Stannis" bardiche is a foam weapon that is based on this type of commonly used polearm. Its long, curved blade is connected to the simple wooden handle in three places. Robust leather inlays provide the necessary rigidity. Notches and score marks as well as an imitated wooden grain give "Stannis" a very realistic optic. A long hilt wrapped in suede provides good grip. This polearm can be divided into two parts! This allows for easy transport and space-saving storage. Screwed together by means of a robust metal thread, it does not lack stability when in use. Of course, the "Black Dragon" polearms may also be mixed and matched in this way. Please do not touch the exposed end of the upper glass fibre reinforced plastic rod bare-handed as there may be splinters.

We recommend regular care with silicone oil. Keep your foam weapons clean and
dry at all times. Do not store them in a weapon's holder or similar contraption
for extended periods of time. Your foam weapon should not be exposed to a lot
of heat or direct sunlight for extended periods of time. This could lead to
deformations or damage to the surface.
