Katharina Armor Belt

For optimal mobility of the Katharina armour and a good fit, we have separated the upper and lower parts of the torso armour. The Katharina armour belt forms the lower part of the torso and is worn beneath the breastplate. It is fastened with a wide leather strap at the back. The size of the armour belt can be adjusted individually using the strap and by carefully bending it. The tassets are attached to the four front straps, which we offer separately, as well as in a convenient set along with the armour belt. Other tassets from our 'Mytholon Artware' armours can also be combined with these armour belts, such as Lambert, Galahad, Ortwin, or Edward.

The tassets of the Katharina armour are fastened to the straps of the armour belt with buckles. Their height and angle can thus be optimally adjusted. They continue the curved design typical of this armour and visually round off this set. The arm guard of the Katharina armour is a modular set and already includes the spaulders. You can decide whether you want to wear only the spaulders, the spaulders with an additional upper arm segment or as a complete arm guard together with the shaped elbow tile. All segments are connected with straps and buckles, so you can adjust the arm guard optimally to your arms. Of course, all parts of the armament are flanged to ensure the safety of you and your fellow players. On the inside, the parts have been painted to protect against rust. This varnish can peel off over time. We recommend regular care with oil, e.g. with Ballistol, which is available from us. Steel bracers and greaves are not only suitable for in-game protection when blocking blows to the arms and legs, but also protect in real life: whenever the kids roam through the forrests and parks, their legs and arms may get scratches and bruises. Shins and lower arms are well protected with a layer of steel greaves and bracers.
A great basis for "dark" characters, but they are also suitable as a contrast for brighter costumes. The "Lucas" set of bracers and greaves was specially designed for children and adults with a really small circumference on arms and legs. They are shorter and smaller in diameter, but can "grow" with the wearer by carefully bending them open a little.
Just like all pieces from the "Lucas" range, they are built with a stiffening ridge along the edges and are being closed with two straps on each piece.
We suggest to wear padded bracers and greaves underneath to avoid scratches and bruises when playing outside. Not only does this maximise comfort, but also protects the skin and bones.
