The padded vest "Arthur" features lozenge-shaped top stitchings and four buckles in the front for fastening. The sleeves and bottom fringe have eyelets to attach the sleeves and tassets by means of
strings. The lozenge-shaped stitching leaves good freedom of movement without reducing the protective properties of the vest. The collar is stitched more delicately to enable a comfortable fit around the throat as well as greater mobility in that area.
In this "Limited Edition" we offer the gambeson vest "Arthur" in green.
Delivery includes leather strings so you can easily attach all the additional parts.

Lacing shirt, pirate shirt, medieval shirt...First risen to
popularity in the Middle Ages, this shirt is known by many names today.
Lacing shirts like this are associated with the Renaissance, brave
musketeers, pirates and swashbucklers, but also flower power kids from
the 1960s. Ever since this shirt has become a staple of the fantasy and
medieval world, we call it costume shirt.Made from sturdy cotton
by Mytholon, this shirt is available in a wide variety of colours. It
serves as a basis for historical outfits – or costume, as it were, like
few other garments do.The lacing allows the shirt to be worn
open on warm days and tied close when it's cold outside. The sleeves are
very generously cut and allow great freedom of movement when fighting
and dancing. The wide cuffs are each closed by means of a lacing. This is a shirt for many occasions, not only as a costume, but also as a comfortable leisure shirt.Material: cotton canvasSizes: S to XXL
"Armin" is a medieval headpiece for men. It's available in three sizes
to cover nearly all heads. We recommend individually decorating the
"Armin" cap by embroidering it or adding a feather or a broach.A
couple of words on the history of this cap: it is an enhancement of
what's called a "pillbox", and is referred to as the Italian beret. It
was mostly worn by townspeople and well-off citizens of southern Europe
in the late medieval period until the renaissance. While younger people
used to wear the cap to the side, cardinals and other authorities would
wear them upright (see the Doge of Venice).Material: CanvasHeight: 23cmSizes: S (58cm), M (60cm), L (62cm)

The belt fitting ring "Borre" is a well done replica, made after a historical find from Gotland dated to the 10th century. Belt distributors or fitting rings were very widespread in the time of the Vikings and can be found in the area of the Rus as well as on Gotland and in all other settlement areas the Vikings. They were used for sword sheaths and made sure that the sword or sax always hung on the belt at the optimum angle.
