John chain mail

This short-sleeved chain mail was built for average sized adults with a "normal" chest circumference. It is wide enough to be worn on top of a padded gambeson.The sleeves cover some 2/3 of the arms - still being considered a short sleeve chain mail - and reaches down to the middle of your thigh.We suggest to wear this chain mail with an average chest circumference from 90cm to 125cm. This way it chan be worn in combination with a padded gambeson and can extend itself to a maximum width of 140cm circumference. A belt can help to distribute the weight properly. The blank version is fully galvanized and does not rust. Oiled and browned chainmails are ungalvanized and are supplied with a high lubrication. Please remove the excess oil before first use. Vladimir armour belt

The "Vladimir" armor belt is the appropriate thigh protection to the "Vladimir" Torso armour. It consists of segmented tassets which are attached to a sturdy belt of split leather by means of enclosed leather straps. With additional eyelets, the tassets can be placed in different places of the belt and are therefore optimally adjustable for individual size and body shape. This armor is self-sustaining and can be worn without a torso armour. It can also be combined with chain mails or leather armour. The chain mail "Richard" was made for wearers of average chest circumferences. It is wide enough to wear a gambeson underneath, has long sleeves and is approxamatly knee length. We suggest this chain mail for wearers with an chest circumference of app 90 cm to 125 cm. Fafnir padded greaves

The "Fafnir" greaves consist of three solid riveted segments. A lower foot protection, which, thanks to the generous, padding, allows the greaves to be comfortably worn down to the boots, an extra padded segment for the knees and the actual protection for the shin. With their curved lines and wide beading, the greaves look sleek and elegant, with maximum protection. Due to the overlapping segments, they are very stable and do not deform even in the case of heavy duty. Fafnir brigandine set blank

Our "Fafnir" body armour is something really special. Metal plates have been riveted on a backing of padded suede. Especially the comfort of the wearer and the feasibility of putting on a complete suit of armour in a few minutes were our goals. Because of this there is no need to wear a gambeson or a similar garment.You have the choice between three different adjustments which you can make yourselves. The different parts of the armour are connected by leather straps. The three different sizes are achieved by pulling these straps through eyelets.
