For optimal mobility of the Katharina armour and a good fit, we have separated the upper and lower parts of the torso armour. The Katharina armour belt forms the lower part of the torso and is worn beneath the breastplate. It is fastened with a wide leather strap at the back. The size of the armour belt can be adjusted individually using the strap and by carefully bending it. The tassets are attached to the four front straps, which we offer separately, as well as in a convenient set along with the armour belt. Other tassets from our 'Mytholon Artware' armours can also be combined with these armour belts, such as Lambert, Galahad, Ortwin, or Edward.
All parts of this armour are naturally fluted to ensure safety for you and your fellow participants. The inner parts have been painted to protect against rust, although this paint may peel off over time. We recommend regular maintenance with oil, such as the Ballistol available from us.

The arm guard of the Katharina armour is a modular set and already includes the spaulders. You can decide whether you want to wear only the spaulders, the spaulders with an additional upper arm segment or as a complete arm guard together with the shaped elbow tile. All segments are connected with straps and buckles, so you can adjust the arm guard optimally to your arms. Of course, all parts of the armament are flanged to ensure the safety of you and your fellow players. On the inside, the parts have been painted to protect against rust. This varnish can peel off over time. We recommend regular care with oil, e.g. with Ballistol, which is available from us. "Mina" was made as an armour for women. Naturally we had to resign from historical patterns, as equality was not that popular amongst the medieval knight.
Today we are proud to announce, that there is a way to dress strong women for the battlefield - using this armour set, you will not only be good looking on the field of glory, ladies! The spaulders are, just like the entire "Mina" series, built similary to the "Balthasar" series: decorations with rivets along the edge beading are a returning design element in both armours. Both armour series can easily be combined with each other. A slim built and swung lines provide a delicate shape to these spaulders. Two moving pieces are flexibly attached by a leather strap to the top plate. The spaulders do not overlap the chest plate and are fastened to the gorget on the top and the upper arm with the bottom strap. Naturally the spaulders can be combined with any other gorget from our offer.

Our "Lena" armour series was especially designed for warrior princesses and shield maidens alike. We distanced from historical patterns and steped closer to a rather fantastic shape. The outcome was a not only a long awaited womens armour, but also a costume set of in the form of a worthy armour set. The chocker is being worn on top of the gorget and does not need any additional attachment.
